Job summary

LAZ Live seeks an Events Parking Security Guard to help create safe, welcoming event experiences while protecting guests, clients, and team members. This role supports parking operations across events, evenings, weekends, and peak periods with a strong emphasis on customer service and safety.

You will patrol facilities, enforce rules, report incidents, and coordinate with venue staff to maintain smooth operations. Training is provided, and benefits accompany longer-term roles.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum 18 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license preferred.
• Strong verbal communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to remain alert and observant for extended periods.
• Ability to write clear and accurate incident reports.
• Ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular patrols of parking lots, garages, entrances, exits, and event areas.
• Monitor guest and vehicle activity for suspicious behavior, safety hazards, and potential security concerns.
• Enforce facility rules, parking policies, and client requirements.
• Maintain awareness of emergency procedures and assist during incidents as directed.
• Prepare accurate and timely reports documenting incidents, accidents, and unusual activities.
• Provide visible security presence to deter theft, vandalism, and unauthorized activity.
• Report safety hazards and coordinate with management on corrective actions.
• Assist local law enforcement, emergency responders, and venue security personnel when necessary.
• Provide courteous assistance and directions to guests.
• Promote a safe, welcoming, and professional environment.
• Assist guests with general parking-related questions and concerns.
• De-escalate conflicts and address issues professionally whenever possible.
• Deliver exceptional customer service while maintaining safety and security standards.
• Support traffic flow and pedestrian safety throughout events.
• Coordinate with parking operations teams to maintain organized facility access.
• Monitor designated restricted areas and ensure authorized access only.
• Assist management with special assignments and event-specific operational needs.
• Support emergency management and evacuation procedures when required.
• Complete incident, accident, and activity logs accurately and promptly.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and client expectations.
• Follow all safety procedures and security protocols.
• Maintain clear communication with supervisors and event management personnel.
