Cedar Point Sports Center is seeking an Events / Operations Team Member to support the conversion and preparation of the facility for concerts, basketball games, banquets, meetings, and family shows in Sandusky, OH. The role emphasizes teamwork, safety, and guest service.

You will assist with setup, equipment handling, and daily maintenance, ensuring smooth event transitions and responsive guest support within a fast-paced, high-energy environment. Part-time hours cater to evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Convert facility for events (concerts, sports, banquets, meetings).
• Assist with event prep and setup for shows or sports events.
• Set up and tear down of basketball courts, staging, risers, and related items.
• Maintain daily upkeep of department equipment (seating, floor, hoops, furniture).
• Respond to radio requests for setup, removal, or repair of equipment.
• Provide courteous service and directions to guests as needed.
• Have knowledge of program options and events.
• Address guest concerns and escalate as needed to management.
• Collaborate with team to prepare facility for events.
• Complete special projects and daily tasks as directed by management.
• Model and uphold facility policies and procedures.
