The Events Manager is responsible for the planning, coordination and execution of corporate meetings, executive functions, receptions and special events. This individual serves as a key liaison between internal clients, culinary and service teams, ensuring that every event is executed seamlessly and to a consistently high standard.
This is a hands-on operational role requiring exceptional organization, polished communication and the ability to manage multiple events and priorities within a fast-paced corporate environment. The ideal candidate brings strong catering and event experience, a hospitality mindset and the discretion and professionalism required when supporting senior executives and high-profile guests.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the planning and execution of internal corporate events, executive meetings, conferences, receptions, client functions and special events.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for internal stakeholders throughout the event planning and execution process.
- Coordinate all food and beverage requirements including menus, service style, timing, room setup and special requests.
- Partner closely with culinary, catering and service teams to ensure seamless event execution.
- Develop and communicate detailed event orders, timelines and operational requirements.
- Oversee event setup, service and breakdown, ensuring presentation and service standards are consistently maintained.
- Anticipate client and guest needs and proactively address changes or challenges before and during events.
- Manage multiple events simultaneously while maintaining accuracy, attention to detail and a calm, solutions-oriented approach.
- Coordinate with building operations, facilities, security, audiovisual and other internal departments as required.
- Maintain accurate event documentation, billing information and administrative records.
- Ensure all events comply with company policies, food safety requirements and established operational standards.
- Build strong working relationships with stakeholders and become a trusted resource for their meeting and event needs.
- Support the broader food and beverage operation as needed and contribute to a collaborative, service-driven team culture.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in events, catering, corporate hospitality, hotels, restaurants or a related hospitality environment.
- Strong understanding of event operations and food and beverage service.
- Experience in corporate dining, executive dining, luxury hospitality or high-end catering is highly desirable.
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple events and competing priorities.
- Highly polished communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to service excellence.
- Comfortable interacting with senior executives, corporate clients and high-profile guests.
