Astound Broadband in Austin, TX is seeking an Events Marketing Specialist to plan, coordinate, and execute community events, sponsorships, and promotions that boost brand awareness and customer engagement. You will liaise between field marketing, corporate marketing, and sales to align on strategies, pricing, packaging, and event execution.

Qualifications

• 1 year of marketing/event experience, supporting a sales team preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to establish strong interdepartmental and external working relationships.
• Strong computer skills with Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
• Evening and weekend hours required.
• Local travel up to 50%.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate & attend Community events and sponsorships.
• Liaison between Field Market Coordinator, Corporate Marketing Team and Field Teams on pricing, packaging, sales, and customer feedback.
• Coordinate and maintain branded merchandise giveaways.
• Maintain post event results to determine impact and future participation in community events.
• Deliver consistently high standards in work performance related to events and outreach.
• Other duties as assigned.
