Responsibilities

  • Cultivate a database of preferred suppliers to serve multiple markets; oversee inventory and vendor onboarding.
  • Implement processes to improve event planning, operations, logistics, and reporting.
  • Maintain North American event calendar, updates from regional teams, and monthly budgeting and reporting.

Job Title: Events Manager, Brand & Retail

Who you are:

The Brand & Retail Events Manager is vital to the image and commercial success of our brand and supports the Senior Brand & Retail Events Manager, along with the Senior Director of Marketing and Events in achieving business goals and operational objectives through the careful planning and execution of events. Detail obsessed but big picture orientated and practical, you are able to successfully navigate multiple stakeholders and priorities, with the brand’s customer and values at the center of your mission. You understand the importance and power of a team but are an efective individual contributor who demonstrate autonomy, sound judgement and an entrepreneurial mindset, representing the brand to the highest standards in any environment, from the brand’s stores, to high pro?le national brand moments.

What You’ll Do:
  • Plan and execute brand appropriate, market best-practice events in standalone boutiques (and mall partners) working with internal and external stakeholders to surprise and delight customers to build immediate positive brand sentiment and long-term brand equity.
  • Act as a brand representative at all times, with a focus on regional in-store events, managing both operational aspects of the event/project as well as people management,ensuring team members and partners are set up for success at every activation, event or “brand moment.”
  • Partner with the Senior Brand & Retail Events Manager to plan and execute executive and/or large-scale institutional events of national and international prominence, working with key internal stakeholders including the North American and Italian upper management team, investors and the family. Additionally, work with lateral the departments and external stakeholders such as members of the press, VIC’s and VIPS, partners, vendors and agencies to maximize event reach and success.
  • Partner with internal and external business partners to identify market speci?c opportunities and strategies for activations and events.
  • Cultivate and manage an extensive database of preferred suppliers/vendors to serve multiple markets across North America, ensuring quality, eficiency and cost management
  • Identify and onboard an event logistics & storage vendor, overseeing regular inventory.
  • Engage in a culture of continuous improvement, implementing processes and procedures to improve and/or simplify event planning, operations, logistics and reporting.
  • Support and maintain North American Event calendar inclusive of events, trunk shows and VIP appointments incorporating accurate updates across all the brand stakeholders, including but not limited to updates from regional commercial management, visual merchandising, press, advertising, wholesale etc.
  • Maintain live and accurate budgeting across all activations, working with business and manager preferred formats.
  • Support with budget forecasting and actualizing on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis for ?nance functions in North American corporate and Italian Headquarter ofices.
  • Produce timely and data rich reporting and event analysis as needed.
Requirements & Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree required, Marketing or Communications degree preferred
  • Approximately 4-5 years of Events experience, retail and/or luxury industry preferred
  • Experience in developing and delivering upon event strategies to meet company objectives
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally with internal departments and external partners
  • Pro?cient in MS Suite (Excel, Powerpoint, Word, Outlooks, Teams)
  • Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop) a plus
  • Ability to travel domestically on a regular basis (50%) while maintaining a strong and productive NYC ofice presence
  • Strong afinity for the brand and philosophy
  • Ability to prioritize multiple projects efectively to deliver timely and impactful results
  • Thrives on working collaboratively with team members across the company in a growing and entrepreneurial team environment
