Hutton Brickyards Retreat + Event Center in Kingston, NY is hiring an Event Manager to plan and manage weddings, retreats, and corporate events from start to finish. You will coordinate operations, lead promotions, and serve as the day-of contact, ensuring seamless execution and post-event analysis.

The role requires flexibility, strong MS Office skills (Excel/Outlook), and excellent interpersonal communication. Previous event experience is preferred, with a competitive benefits package.

• This position demands a flexible schedule and is event driven; this individual must be available days, nights, holidays, weekends based on the needs of the client and Hutton Brickyards.
• Have strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products- Excel, Outlook.
• Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Must be guest service focused and be self-motivated.
• 1-2 years of event experience preferred.

• Come up with suggestions to enhance the event’s success.
• Source and negotiate with vendors and suppliers.
• Coordinate all operations.

Event Manager

The Event Manager reports directly to the Director of Sales and is responsible for working with all clients to provide professional client services support in the planning, organization, and management of events within the facility, monitoring the logistics of these events and all event related tasks after events are concluded. To detail all retreats, weddings, social and corporate events.
