Job summary

Testarossa Winery in Los Gatos, CA, seeks an Events Line Cook to execute seasonal dishes for winery events. You'll plate items designed around world-class Pinot Noir and Chardonnay after final heating at our Los Gatos facility.

Shifts are typically 1pm–9pm; you will work with the culinary team to maintain quality, organize inventory, and ensure timely service in a fast-paced setting. Requires 1+ year kitchen experience or culinary education.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of kitchen experience or equivalent culinary education
• ServSafe and/or California Food Handlers Certification
• Valid driver's license
• Safe knife skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team, be proactive, have a sense of urgency, a positive attitude and effective communication

Responsibilities

• Executing menu items at the winery including plating of salad, entrees, appetizers, desserts and buffet items based on the Chef de Cuisine design
• Setting up, breaking down and cleaning, including food transport from catering van
• Organizing, rotating, and assessing inventory levels of food storage areas
• Working efficiently in a fast-paced environment
