The Council on Foreign Relations in Washington, DC seeks an Events Coordinator to support the Events Operations team with logistical planning and on-site execution for in-person, virtual, and hybrid events.
The role requires a bachelor’s degree and at least 3 years in events, hospitality, or related fields; strong organizational, communication, and vendor coordination skills are essential.
The Council on Foreign Relations’ DC office, located just one block from the White House, is home to a state-of-the-art conference center and hosts several hundred internal and external meetings each year.
The Events Coordinator will provide logistical and administrative support to the Events Operations team. The position is responsible for coordinating operational details and supporting onsite event execution for both internal and external events at the Council.
This full-time position is based in CFR’s Washington, DC office at least four days per week. Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays are considered institutional anchor days where all staff are required to be onsite. CFR’s remote working schedule is subject to change.
