Job summary

Hyatt Regency Greenwich on-site at Old Greenwich, CT seeks a Convention Services Supervisor to assist the Banquet Manager and ensure a positive guest experience. The role involves setting up meeting rooms, coordinating with supervisors, and maintaining spaces for upcoming functions.

This position requires stamina to move heavy items, as well as strong communication skills. HEI Hotels and Resorts provides benefits and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of equipment and setup styles for meeting rooms.
• Ability to lift/move tables, chairs, podiums up to 100 lbs.
• Ability to move goods up to 500 lbs with/without aid.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with supervisor throughout shift to stay aligned.
• Set up meeting rooms to guest specifications and layouts.
• Replenish meeting rooms with clean glasses and water.
• Break down rooms after meetings and return items to storage.
• Maintain cleaning schedule for meeting rooms and ballrooms.
• Be available to work on a regular basis (PM shifts, flexible).
• Perform other duties as assigned.
