Job summary

Vista Host Hotel Management & Development seeks a proactive Catering Sales Manager to drive catering and event revenue from inquiry to execution. You will prospect, book, and coordinate weddings, corporate meetings, group functions, and catered experiences while partnering with culinary and operations teams to ensure guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Must communicate effectively in English (written and verbal).
• Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to perform outside sales calls and attend networking events.
• Previous experience in hotel catering sales, event management, banquet sales, or hospitality sales preferred.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple events and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Solicit and generate new catering and event business through prospecting and networking.
• Coordinate and execute weddings, social events, corporate meetings, group functions, and special events from inquiry to completion.
• Prepare proposals, contracts, and banquet event orders (BEOs).
• Collaborate with culinary, banquet, front office, and operations for seamless execution.
• Maintain client communications throughout planning and post-event follow-up.
• Monitor event revenue, booking pace, and goals to maximize profitability.
• Attend networking events and community events to generate leads.
• Maintain accurate client records and sales reporting.
