Job description

Community Events & Brand Engagement Coordinator

LetsTrade™ is redefining the way people exchange value. Our platform is a commerce playground where users can buy, sell, swap, or SplitTrade (all seamlessly within a private chat). Whether it is pre‑loved goods, new products, or exchanged services, LetsTrade makes trading social, flexible, and hassle‑free. And when a swap is not perfectly even, SplitTrade allows users to add just enough cash to balance the deal.

We are in advanced private beta and are looking for creative event leaders who want to bring our mission to life on university and college campuses.

Role Purpose

The Campus Events and Brand Engagement Coordinator will design and execute high‑impact campus events and brand activations. You will work closely with student groups, ambassadors, and local partners to create vibrant communities of early adopters. This role ensures that students not only understand LetsTrade’s unique model, including SplitTrade, but also experience it firsthand as part of their everyday exchanges.

Compensation and Hours
  • $20–$25 per hour, depending on experience
  • Flexible 15–25 hours per week (with evenings and weekends during peak campus events)
What You’ll Do
  1. Campus Events & Activations
    • Design, plan, and execute on‑campus events and activations that drive student engagement and awareness.
    • Build and document scalable event templates to be used across multiple campuses.
    • Partner with student unions, clubs, and campus leaders to secure collaboration opportunities and event spaces.
    • Recruit, train, and manage student brand ambassadors to extend LetsTrade’s reach across campus communities.
    • Track event performance and ROI including attendance, user signups, and engagement conversions.
  2. Content Creation & Digital Storytelling
    • Capture photo and video content at events that authentically represent student experience and LetsTrade brand.
    • Record, edit, and produce short‑form videos (TikTok, Reels, YouTube Shorts) that highlight events, student stories, and partner features.
    • Write and draft captions, choose trending soundtracks, and align every piece of content with LetsTrade’s tone, style, and campaign objectives.
    • Manage the publishing calendar including scheduling, posting, and tracking engagement across all social platforms.
    • Collaborate with the founding team to develop content briefs, ensuring each event or campaign translates into compelling visual storytelling.
    • Repurpose event footage into ads, highlight reels, or social campaigns optimized for different platforms and audiences.
  3. Brand & Community Building
    • Act as a brand voice on campus by engaging with students both online and offline to amplify LetsTrade’s mission.
    • Identify opportunities for co‑branded content with campus partners, local businesses, or student influencers.
    • Support initiatives that grow community trust and brand loyalty among students and early adopters.
  4. Data, Feedback & Iteration
    • Use analytics tools to monitor social media and event performance and report insights to leadership.
    • Capture feedback from student attendees and ambassadors to continuously improve event formats and content style.
What We’re Looking For
  • 1–3 years in event coordination, student leadership, or campus marketing
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
  • High energy, approachable, and persuasive in student environments
  • Familiar with TikTok, Instagram, and campus media
  • Able to work evenings and weekends, with some local travel required
Why Join Us

At LetsTrade, you will shape how communities experience trading in fun, social, and practical ways. You will work directly with the founding team, see the immediate impact of your events, and play a key role in building the first wave of student adopters on campuses.
