Job summary

Brightstar Lottery Indiana, part of Brightstar Global Solutions, seeks a part-time Event Brand Ambassador to represent the Hoosier Lottery brand at on-site events and sponsorship activations. You will operate games, sell and redeem tickets, award prizes, and manage cash in a fast-paced public setting.

The role requires weekend availability, a valid license, and the ability to lift 25 lbs. Training occurs within 60 days; Indiana State Fair presence is required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Must be able to complete required training within a 60-day onboarding period.
• Must be available to work weekends, afternoons, evenings, and some holidays.
• Must be available to work the Indiana State Fair (late July - late August).
• Ability to meet physical expectations for event setup/teardown, including lifting at least 25 lbs. and standing for long periods.
• Ability to utilize navigation system.
• Ability to manage and balance money transactions accurately.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, especially with the public.

Responsibilities

• Sells and redeems Hoosier Lottery Scratch-off and draw game tickets at events.
• Awards monetary and non-monetary prizes to winners.
• Performs ticket validations for sellers and players.
• Verifies inventory and cash at event openings and closings.
• Assists with setup and teardown of promotional equipment.
• Upholds security, safety, and integrity of event policies.
• Assist Regional Promotions Specialists at events on retailer property.
• Performs other required tasks as assigned.

The Part-time Event Brand Ambassador represents the face, the voice, and the attitude of the Hoosier Lottery brand on site at special events and sponsorship activations to promote a positive player experience.

At Brightstar, we consider a wide range of factors in determining compensation, including background, skills, experience, and work location. These factors can cause your compensation to vary. The estimated starting compensation range for this role is $14 - $25.22/hr. The actual pay offered may be higher or lower. The Company complies with all local pay requirements and collective bargaining agreements, where applicable.

Base pay is one part of our Total Rewards program. Non-exempt roles are eligible for irregular discretionary bonuses.
