Foundation for American Innovation seeks an events associate to join the external relations team in Washington, DC. The role oversees events planning, staffing, vendor coordination, media outreach, and promotion of research and commentary.

To support this mission, FAI is seeking an events associate to join the external relations team, which oversees the full range of FAI’s outward-facing projects—from events, to research publication, to media coverage and more.
Reporting to the managing director for external relations and editor-in-chief, this person will assume a wide range of support responsibilities across the team, including but not limited to events planning and staffing, vendor and contractor correspondence, media outreach and tracking, and social media. The role will involve significant collaboration across both the external relations team and FAI as a whole and is an ideal position for someone eager to take on a broad portfolio at a quickly growing organization.
This is a growth position, with strong potential for promotion and the assumption of greater responsibilities commensurate with performance. A successful candidate will demonstrate an ability to absorb the basics of external relations, quickly become an essential member of the team, and contribute to its efficacy and excellence.
This is a full‑time position based in Washington, DC.
