Job summary

Legends Global in Inglewood, CA is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to coordinate all warehousing operations and ensure safety, sanitation and efficiency across storage areas. You will support the Warehouse Manager, assign tasks, and delegate responsibilities to staff during events.

The role requires a high school diploma, at least two years in receiving, storage or distribution, and familiarity with health and safety regulations. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or better required.
• Two years' experience in receipt, storage or distribution of food, supplies or equipment with at least 1 year in a supervisory role in an entertainment or convention center.
• Ability to promote and participate in a team environment.
• Ability to understand written and oral direction and communicate clearly.
• Occasional lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Hours often extend to nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a friendly, positive attitude and professional demeanor at all times.
• Ensure control procedures for cataloging, inventory, bulk storage and distribution are used and maintained.
• Coordinate all warehousing activities with management.
• Receive, store and distribute supplies and equipment in large centralized warehousing operations.
• Use storage systems and procedures to maximize space efficiency.
• Submit reports of damage, outdated stock, shortages, over shipments or returns to vendor.
• Contact vendors to reconcile invoice discrepancies or arrange emergency shipments.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Perform other related duties as required.
