Job Title: Event Technology Services Technician

Reporting Relationship: Director of Event Technical Services

Department: Event, Classroom, Conference Services-IWU Marion

Summary of Position:

Provide technical support to all ECCS constituents as assigned. Venue support includes the Chapel Auditorium; PPAC; Student Center; and outdoor venues. This position will require some evening and weekend work.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Provide lighting, sound, video, and other technical support for University and authorized community events as assigned by administrator This will require evening and weekend work
  • Provide assistance with maintenance and inventory of technical equipment
  • Provide supervision of technical equipment and student staff during assigned events. This will require evening and weekend work
  • Attend weekly TEAM meetings and meet with clients as needed to fully understand and be ready to support event need/requests
Qualifications:

Education
  • Two (2) years of college work
  • Bachelor' Degree preferred
Experience
