# Event Staff Retail Associate## •### @MarinersPosted on 2/20/2026•Part-time## Job Description**Job Title:** Event Retail Sales Associate**Department:** Merchandising**Reports To:** T-Mobile Park Team Store Manager / Manager, Souvenirs**Status:** Seasonal, NonexemptP**rimary Objective:** Contribute to revenue and sales goals by proactively assisting guests, providing courteous and friendly service to all guests while maintaining a clean and organized work environment.**Essential Functions:*** Adhere to the Mariners Selling System with all guest interactions.* Approach all guests with a friendly and helpful demeanor; assist them with merchandise and make merchandise recommendations when asked.* Maintain comprehensive understanding of current merchandise and promotions in all categories along with general ballpark knowledge.* Complete guest checkout transactions on store’s POS/computer system and balance register at the end of shift.* Maintain a clean and organized store environment. Actively organize, size, and straighten displays throughout shift.* Assist with store freight as needed, including unloading, and moving boxes and other containers of merchandise in a timely manner.* Use provided tools such as a ladder or merchandise grabber to access out-of-reach items for guests.* Use provided tools such as step stools and portable display racks to set up and display or arrange merchandise for sales promotions as assigned.* Effective verbal communication skills; clear, respectful, and appropriate communication to all guests. Must be able to work fluently in English; bi-lingual skills are a plus.* Complete all tasks and assigned duties in a timely manner. Is careful, alert and accurate, paying attention to details of the job.* Fill out all forms neatly and accurately.* Must be dependable and reliable to report to work on-time when scheduled and work in assigned area independently.* Understands and supports the team and is quick to volunteer to assist others.
