Job summary

Allied Universal® Event Services in Columbus, OH is hiring part-time Event Staff to support local events. Earn extra income with a flexible schedule that fits evenings and weekends. No experience required; weekly-pay; duties include greeting guests, ushering, ticket collection, and delivering friendly customer service.

You will help manage crowds, direct foot traffic, and keep venues clean and safe. Applicants must be 18+, have a high school diploma, and pass a background check and post-offer

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must have a high school diploma (or equivalent).
• Background investigation and post-offer drug/alcohol test; may require Driver’s Record check.
• Be professional, articulate and able to use good independent judgment.
• Must be able to work overtime as needed.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills required.

Responsibilities

• Assists in all aspects of event day preparation and execution.
• Controls entry and directs guests; may collect/scan tickets and verify wristbands.
• Adheres to venue policies, procedures and regulations.
• Greets guests genuinely and thanks them warmly on exit.
• Provides guests with directions and information to enhance their experience.
• Maintains a friendly and clear communication tone with guests.
