Job summary

Allied Universal® Event Services is looking to hire Event Staff. This position is responsible for duties such as collecting tickets, welcoming and ushering guests, and providing superior customer service.

Event Staff team members are also responsible for directing foot traffic, and ensuring the cleanliness, operational efficiency and maintenance of designated areas. Part-time, flexible scheduling under 30 hours/week that fits with your personal life goals; pay varies by location (Tacoma $20/hr,

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must have a high school diploma (or equivalent).
• Background check and post-offer/pre-employment drug/alcohol test; may require Driver’s Record check.
• Be professional, articulate and able to use good independent judgment and discretion.
• Must be able to work overtime as needed.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills required.

Responsibilities

• Collect and/or scan tickets, welcome and usher guests, and provide superior customer service.
• Direct foot traffic and ensure orderly entry/exit at venue entrances.
• Demonstrate understanding of policies, procedures and regulations of venues and events.
• Greet guests warmly and professionally and thank them at departure.
• Provide guests with directions and suggestions to enhance their entertainment experience.
