The Lake Estate on Winnisquam, a luxury resort in New Hampshire, invites you to join our team as Event Staff (Captains, Servers, and Bartenders). You will help set up, serve, and maintain elegant event spaces while delivering exceptional guest experiences.

You will work flexible shifts, including evenings and weekends, greet guests, assist with seating, serve food and beverages, and ensure sanitation and safety standards.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

The Event Staff (Captains, Servers, and Bartenders) will be responsible for setting up, maintaining, and cleaning event spaces, serving food and beverages to guests during functions, ensuring guest satisfaction, and providing a positive experience throughout the event, including tasks like table setting, food delivery, clearing plates, and responding to guest requests, all while adhering to sanitation and safety standards; often requiring flexibility to work various shifts including evenings and weekends.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Support successful execution of various events from weddings to corporate events.
• Assisting guests and ensuring a luxurious positive experience for all guests.

Event Setup:

• Setting up tables, chairs, linens, and decorations according to event specifications
• Arranging buffet stations or plated meal service
• Placing signage and coordinating with other departments for event logistics

Guest Service:

• Greeting guests and assisting with seating arrangements
• Serving food and beverages efficiently and attentively
• Addressing guest needs and requests promptly
• Maintaining a positive and professional demeanor

Food and Beverage Service:

• Delivering food courses to tables in a timely manner
• Refilling beverages and ensuring proper glassware placement
• Monitoring food quality and presentation

Clean Up and Breakdown:

• Clearing tables, removing dirty dishes, and resetting for the next course
• Properly storing food and beverage items
• Disassembling event setups and cleaning the event space

Experience and Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Experienced and highly motivated individuals with excellent customer service.
• Must maintain a positive and welcoming demeanor
• Relevant experience required and must work efficiently under pressure
• Must be familiar with event logistics
• Ability to interact with multiple types of people
• Able to move constantly and remain on standing for long periods of time
• Excellent personal hygiene and customer service skills
