Job Description

Are you eager to be part of the action? Looking to earn extra money and work around other commitments? Join our team! We offer part-time, flexible scheduling at $15.50 an hour. Please note: Applying for this position means you are applying for Allied Universal Event Staff - Part-Time only. We cannot hire or interview for Guard positions through this posting. If hired for this role, you will be ineligible for Guard positions at Allied Universal.

Allied Universal Event Services seeks Event Staff responsible for collecting tickets, welcoming and ushering guests, and providing excellent customer service. Duties include directing foot traffic and maintaining cleanliness and operational efficiency of designated areas.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities
  • Assist in all aspects of event day preparation and execution.
  • Manage venue entry, including ticket scanning, verifying wristbands and badges, and directing traffic.
  • Understand policies, procedures, and regulations of various venues and events.
  • Greet guests warmly and sincerely at entrances and thank them at the end of their visit.
  • Provide helpful directions and suggestions to enhance guest experience.
  • Interact with guests using a friendly tone, a smile, and natural speech inflection.
Qualifications
  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Must pass background check, drug/alcohol test, and possibly a Driver’s Record check.
  • Professional, articulate, with good judgment and discretion.
  • Ability to work overtime as needed.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
