Job summary

The City of Universal City is seeking energetic and customer-focused Event Staff to support weddings, banquets, parties, tournaments, and other events. Event Staff are responsible for setup, food and beverage service, guest assistance, and cleanup while providing exceptional service.

Pay rate is $15.00 per hour. This part-time role offers a flexible schedule with availability on weekdays, weekends, early mornings, and holidays; benefits are not included.

Qualifications

• Ability to obtain a Food Handler's Permit within the first week of employment.
• Strong customer service, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a positive attitude.

• Assist with event setup and breakdown, including tables, chairs, linens, and event equipment.
• Provide food and beverage service during events.
• Deliver friendly, professional customer service to guests and event participants.
• Maintain clean and organized event spaces before, during, and after events.
• Perform cleanup duties including bussing tables, washing dishes, removing trash, vacuuming, and mopping.
• Support event operations as needed, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
