Job summary

Oak Hill Country Club in Rochester, NY is seeking an Event Setup & Operations Associate (Houseman) to prepare club spaces for events, meetings, dining experiences, and special functions. You will follow setup instructions and arrange furniture to meet exact layouts for members and guests.

Work closely with Catering and Food & Beverage teams, handle last-minute changes, and ensure spaces are clean and ready for the next use. Pay is $17-18/hour for this on-site role.

Responsibilities

• Prepare a variety of Club spaces for events, meetings, dining experiences, and special functions.
• Review setup instructions and transform spaces to match event needs.
• Move and arrange tables, chairs, and equipment to create the desired layout.
• Set tables, arrange furnishings, and place event materials as directed.
• Prepare spaces for events and return them to original condition afterward.
• Work with Catering and Food & Beverage teams to ensure timely setup.
• Assist with last-minute changes to room setups as needed.
• Maintain organized storage and work areas; provide friendly service.
