Job summary

You will support audio/visual tasks, operate machinery as certified, and complete related paperwork. A valid driving record and strong interpersonal skills are essential for success in this hands-on position.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; trade school preferred.
• Ability to learn and follow setup diagrams, safety rules, and fire code seating.
• Valid driving record required; willingness to operate vehicles as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist in event setup and breakdown, including tables, chairs, stages, and equipment.
• Maintain venue cleanliness and organize seating per safety regulations.
• Set up and operate sound and lighting equipment as required.
• Provide high levels of customer service to attendees and lessees.
• Complete work logs and paperwork documenting work performed and materials used.
• Follow setup diagrams from Event Staff Supervisor and renters.
• Adhere to county and departmental policies and safety procedures.
• Attend to additional tasks as directed by Horseshoe Director.
