Hyatt Regency Washington on Capitol Hill is seeking an Event Setup Houseperson to prepare and dismantle meeting spaces, ensuring clean and properly arranged venues for events. You will need strong communication and physical stamina to stand and move for extended periods and lift moderate weights.

The role requires flexibility to work any day, including weekends and holidays. The hourly rate is $22.8713 with salary increases at six months and one year, reflecting a fast-paced hospitality

Qualifications

• Ability to lift, push, and pull a moderate amount of weight.
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time.
• Ability to communicate and work well with a team.
• Ability to read and understand setup diagrams.
• Flexible to work any day including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Set up and break down meeting spaces with tables, chairs, stage, dance floor, water, etc.
• Ensure spaces are clean after events.
• Coordinate with team and communicate effectively during events.
• Read and interpret setup diagrams to arrange spaces as required.
• Support a fast-paced environment with a flexible schedule.
