Job summary

Hyatt Regency Bellevue on Seattle's Eastside seeks an Event Houseperson to set up, maintain, and break down event spaces for meetings, conferences, banquets, and weddings. You will support guests and event teams, prepare rooms according to orders, and ensure cleanliness and safety throughout shifts.

The role requires physical stamina, strong teamwork, and a proactive service mindset to create exceptional guest experiences in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Set up and break down tables, chairs, linens, staging, and other event equipment per event specs.
• Arrange décor, lighting, and other elements to ensure spaces are presentation-ready.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of banquet rooms and meeting spaces.
• Monitor inventory and care for banquet supplies and equipment.
• Perform routine cleaning duties and service tasks in event spaces.
• Respond promptly to guest requests and support event teams as needed.
