Hyatt Regency Lost Pines Resort and Spa in Texas is seeking an Event Set-Up Houseperson to prepare and maintain all event spaces, ensuring flawless setup and breakdown for meetings, banquets, and outdoor events. Afternoon, evening, and occasional overnight shifts are required, with service charges plus hourly pay.

Qualifications

• 1 year experience in event setup or similar role.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, holidays and the occasional overnight shift.
• Must be at least 18 years old and have a valid driver’s license.
• Ability to stand, walk, and move for extended periods and lift up to 75 lbs.

Responsabilités

• Set up and break down event spaces, including arranging tables, chairs, linens, and other equipment.
• Ensure all event areas are clean, organized, and ready for use.
• Assist with placement and setup of audio-visual equipment as needed.
• Maintain inventory of event supplies and report any shortages or damages.
• Collaborate with event coordinators and other staff to meet the specific needs of each event.
• Provide excellent customer service to guests, addressing any questions or concerns promptly.
• Ensure compliance with safety and sanitation standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Banquet Manager or Event Coordinator.
