Job summary

Mohegan Sun is seeking staff to support Convention Services Floor Operations with event space preparation and equipment setup for banquets and conventions. You will assist in maintaining a clean, organized environment and help guests move equipment as needed.

Ideal candidates bring a year of Convention Services experience, strong English skills, and knowledge of liquor laws to ensure compliance and smooth service during fast-paced events at the venue.

Qualifications

• One year of Convention Services operations experience in a hotel with event space.
• Thorough knowledge of state liquor laws.
• Must be able to speak English as a primary language.

Responsibilities

• Establish environment and basic event equipment for banquets and conventions inside or outside the Convention Center.
• Monitor the event space for cleanliness and maintenance.
• Assist guests with movement of equipment and materials as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness of storage rooms and back-of-house areas for the Ballroom and Convention Center.
• Ensure sets align with Banquet Event Orders and diagrams.
