Job summary

Mohegan PA is seeking a Convention Services support professional to assist in preparing and maintaining event spaces for banquets and conventions. You will help set up environments with basic equipment, monitor cleanliness, assist guests with moving items, and keep back-of-house areas orderly in accordance with Banquet Event Orders and diagrams.

The role requires knowledge of liquor laws, food ingredients, and beverage service basics, with one year of convention services experience and English

Qualifications

• One year of Convention Services operations experience in a hotel with event space.
• Thorough knowledge of state liquor laws.
• Must be able to speak English as a primary language.

Responsibilities

• Physically establish the environment including basic event equipment for banquets/conventions.
• Assist in monitoring the event space for cleanliness and maintenance.
• Assist guests with movement of equipment, materials or boxes as needed.
• Ensure cleanliness of storage rooms and back-of-house areas for ballroom and convention center.
• Maintain neatness and accuracy of sets according to Banquet Event Orders and diagrams.
