Job summary

The University of North Florida (UNF) MOCA-OPS is seeking a part-time MOCA Events Crew member to ensure proper setup and professional operation of events with emphasis on appearance, hospitality, and guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities include room setup, monitoring event flow, handling AV gear, restocking materials, and may assist in marketing efforts. A background check is required, and a flexible schedule is essential for days, evenings, and weekends.

• Must work a flexible schedule including days, evenings, and weekends.
• Ability to follow room layout instructions and multi-task in fast-paced settings.
• Must have reliable transportation and be able to work on-site and off-site events.
• Background check (and possibly credit check) required.

Responsibilities

• To set up event rooms according to specifications.
• Periodically check event operation to ensure smooth execution.
• Move or remove AV equipment when needed.
• Replenish supplies, act as Bar Back, and provide cleanup during events.
• Assist in direct marketing efforts and promote MOCA Events.
• Report safety, deficiency, and maintenance concerns promptly.
• Inspect equipment for damage and verify inventory before and after events.
