Noble House Hotels & Resorts is seeking dependable, energetic Banquet Setup Crew members to prepare spaces for weddings, meetings, banquets, and other events at Jekyll Island Club Resort. This active role involves setup, teardown, and coordinating with various departments to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

Responsibilities

• Set up and break down banquet and event spaces per specifications
• Arrange tables, chairs, linens, staging, and other equipment
• Assist with moving and organizing banquet furniture and supplies
• Prepare meeting rooms, ballrooms and outdoor spaces for functions
• Reset spaces efficiently between events
• Maintain clean, organized banquet and storage areas
• Work closely with Banquet Managers and other departments
• Assist with operational needs before, during, and after events
• Help ensure spaces meet resort standards
• Follow safety procedures when lifting and moving equipment
• Provide friendly, professional service to guests and team members

The JOB

Jekyll Island Club Resort is looking for dependable, energetic, and team-oriented individuals to join our Banquet Setup Crew.

As a member of the Banquet Setup team, you will play an important role in preparing our event spaces for weddings, meetings, banquets, and other special events. This is a hands‑on position that is perfect for someone who enjoys an active work environment and takes pride in creating exceptional experiences for our guests.

What You’ll Do

• Set up and break down banquet and event spaces according to event specifications
• Arrange tables, chairs, linens, staging, and other event equipment
• Assist with moving and organizing banquet furniture and supplies
• Prepare meeting rooms, ballrooms and outdoor event spaces for upcoming functions
• Reset event spaces efficiently between functions
• Maintain clean, organized, and presentable banquet and storage areas
• Work closely with Banquet Managers, Servers, Bartenders, Culinary, and other departments
• Assist the Banquets team with operational needs before, during, and after events
• Help ensure every event space is guest‑ready and meets resort standards
• Follow all safety procedures when lifting, moving, and handling equipment
• Provide friendly and professional service when interacting with guests and fellow team members

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to lift, carry, push, and pull heavy banquet equipment and supplies throughout the shift.
• Regularly moves and sets up tables, chairs, staging, dance floors, event equipment, and other banquet furnishings.
• Must be comfortable with repetitive lifting, bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, and carrying.
• Ability to remain on your feet and physically active for extended periods of time.
• Must be able to safely perform setup and breakdown duties independently and as part of a team.
• Must follow proper lifting techniques and all resort safety procedures when handling heavy or bulky equipment.

Requirements

• Previous banquet, event setup, hospitality, warehouse, moving, or other hands‑on experience is preferred, but not required
• Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team
• Dependable, hardworking, and able to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment
• Comfortable performing the physical requirements of the position
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow banquet event specificationsFlexible availability required; hours will vary based on business and event needs
