Hyatt Regency Savannah is seeking an Event Setup Supervisor to lead the setup and breakdown of all meeting spaces, ensuring timely readiness for guests and clients. You will coordinate with Events teams to align room sets with daily schedules and standards.

Qualifications

• Prior supervisory experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage the setup and breakdown of all meeting spaces.
• Plan and organize daily group details to ensure spaces are ready and presentable.
• Coordinate with Events and Event Services teams on room sets, timing, and expectations.
• Follow instructions to correctly set up and turn meeting spaces.
• Maintain cleanliness of meeting spaces and back-of-house areas.

Summary The Event Setup Supervisor is responsible for overseeing & managing the setup and breaking down of all meeting spaces, and ensuring all meeting spaces are setup in a timely manner. Duties will include:

• Delighting guests on a regular basis & interacting with clients regarding proper setup specifications of meeting spaces.
• Utilizing hotel daily group details to plan out & structure the day ensuring all spaces are setup and presentable to guests & clients.
• Working closely with the Events & Event Services teams to coordinate room sets, daily expectations, and timing.
• Following proper instructions to correctly setup & turn meeting spaces.
• Lifting a moderate amount of weight consistently throughout the day.
• Maintaining proper cleanliness of all meeting spaces & back of house areas.
