Job summary

Scioto Services, a Marsden Holding Company, is seeking a reliable team member to support event setup and maintenance across campuses in the United States. The role includes cleaning before, during and after events, setting up for gatherings from 10 to 750 attendees, and operating floor equipment as needed.

Candidates must be at least 18, hold a valid driver’s license with insurance, and be able to lift up to 100 lbs.

• For safety reasons, basic English proficiency is required.
• A pre-employment criminal background check and drug screen are required.

• As you might expect, cleaning is at the heart of what your job will entail. For the most part, you’ll be:
• Cleaning restrooms.
• Taking out the trash.
• Sweeping/mopping floors.

Job description

• Must possess a valid driver"s license and proof of insurance
• Able to lift up to 100lbs

This position requires the ability to work either the first or second shift and involves setting up for a variety of events, ranging from small gatherings of 10 people to larger occasions with up to 750 attendees. Candidates must be able to drive a box truck and should be available daily. While the schedule is flexible, you can expect a weekly shift assignment, although it may change.

We are looking for a reliable individual who can work seven days a week when needed. Although this is not required every week, you may be called upon during busy periods. Additionally, this role will include cleaning responsibilities, especially during times when extra coverage is necessary due to call-offs or slower setup periods. The individual will need to clean before, during and after events, encompassing both setup and teardown.

This person will also need to operate floor equipment and may be required to take on special roles when setups are limited on campus. Additionally, this position is heavily involved with removing snow and applying salt around campus, this includes working on weekends for snow removal. Candidates must have reliable transposition and dependable means of communication.
