Job summary

H-F Park District seeks an Event Set Up person(s) to prepare and tear down facilities and equipment for rentals, while ensuring a high standard of service and safety.

You will handle setup tasks, assist guests, and maintain a clean, orderly environment in line with district policies. A background in event support and CPR/AED readiness is preferred.

• Comfort working with groups and event setups.

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding customer service to internal and external guests.
• Must be punctual and reliable.
• Complete the entire set up and report any issues to supervisor.
• Communicate concerns or needs to supervisor.
• If unable to attend, give 48 hours’ notice and secure a replacement.
• Perform cleaning duties as assigned.
• Adhere to dress code and maintain a positive public appearance.
• Other related duties as assigned.

JOB SUMMARY: Under the supervision and direction of the Irwin Center Manager, and in his/her absence the Superintendent of Recreation, the Event Set Up person(s) sets up, takes down and cleans the facility and equipment for rentals. The H-F Park District’s mission statement is “to enhance the quality of life through diverse recreational opportunities, facilities and parks while caring for the environment”.ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:- Provide outstanding customer service to our internal and external guests by providing friendly, responsive, courteous and helpful service.- Must be punctual and reliable.- Complete the entire set up.
