Responsibilities include setting up furniture and supplies, assisting with room readiness, coordinating with clients and staff, and supporting basic audio-visual needs.

Prior catering/cleaning experience preferred; ability to lift up to 50 lbs is required; MS Office knowledge

Qualifikationen

• Previous customer service or houseman/porter experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.

Aufgaben

• Moves and places tables, chairs, and supply linens for each event in the conference center.
• Sets up items not included in the room (flipcharts, whiteboard, screens, etc.).
• Assists with conference room readiness and ensures proper materials are available.
• Refreshes rooms between meetings and provides prompt service as scheduled.
• Maintains phone and email communication with clients, guests, and staff.
• Provides directions and escorts to conference rooms as needed.
• Collaborates with partners to ensure updated information is shared.
• Offers recommendations for room setups and solves setup challenges.
• Conducts weekly site inspections and notifies departments if service is needed.
• Assists with basic audio visual equipment as needed.
• Maintains inventory of supplies and notifies supervisors when replenishment is required.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
