Job summary

The Barn Resort is seeking energetic Event Servers to support weddings, parties, and community events with setup, service, and celebration from start to finish.

You’ll greet guests, deliver attentive service, and coordinate with the kitchen and Sales team to ensure a seamless experience. Applicants should be able to stand long hours, work weekends, and bring a positive attitude to a fast-paced events environment.

Qualifications

• Reliable, punctual, and able to work in a fast-paced events environment.
• Ability to stand 8–12 hours and lift up to 25 lbs.
• Must be 18+ with reliable transportation and valid work authorization in the USA.
• Ramp certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Set up event spaces, from tables to beverage & food stations.
• Be creative and detail oriented while setting up for events while also following the guidance of the Sales team.
• Deliver service with a smile- passing appetizers, serving meals, pouring coffee, and cutting cake.
• Keep things running smoothly from start to finish, including clean-up & reset.
• Greet guests and ensure they feel welcomed and cared for throughout the event.
• Communicate with the kitchen and bar staff to keep service seamless and on time.
• Assist with stocking and replenishing food, beverages, and supplies as needed.
• Anticipate guest needs and respond quickly to requests with a positive attitude
• Maintain a polished, professional appearance to represent The Barn Resort brand
• Support your teammates- jump in wherever help is needed to make the event a success
