Job summary

Puff 'n Stuff Catering is seeking enthusiastic Event Servers to join our off-site team in Tampa, Florida. You will attend to guests' needs, serve in a fine dining style, and assist with event setup and breakdown.

Candidates should bring a positive attitude, strong communication, and the physical stamina to lift up to 50 lbs. Reliable transportation to and from events is essential; ServSafe and bartending certifications are a plus.

Qualifications

• 2 years of fine dining or catering service experience, preferably in high-volume operations.
• Positive attitude and good communication skills.
• Able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs; reliable transportation to/from events.
• Speak fluent English; basic written English.
• Smoke-free environment; ServSafe and bartending certifications a plus.

Responsibilities

Event Server Basics:

• Attend to guests needs and serve fine dining style catered events
• Participate in event break down with the rest of the service team
• Practice safe food handling procedures at all times

• Be prepared to work in all types of weather - events can be indoors and outdoors

Event Server Qualifications:

• Positive attitude and good communication skills
• Able to lift, move and carry up to 50 lbs - to unload and re-load necessary equipment
• Have reliable transportation to and from events
• Speak fluent English and write basic English
• Must be okay working in a smoke-free environment
• ServSafe and bartending certifications a plus
• 2 years of fine dining or catering service experience, preferably in a high-volume operation
