Givens Talent in Richmond, VA is hiring dependable Event Servers to work weddings, corporate events, banquets, private parties, and other special events throughout the Richmond area. This is as-needed, event-based work rather than a regular full-time or part-time position.

Shifts are available based on our upcoming events and staffing needs, making this a great opportunity to pick up extra work when events are available.

Qualifications

• Banquet, catering, restaurant, hospitality, or customer service experience preferred.
• Dependable and able to arrive on time for scheduled events.
• Friendly and comfortable interacting with guests.
• Able to work well in a fast-paced, team environment.
• Availability for some evenings and weekends.
• Reliable transportation to event locations throughout the Richmond area.
• Professional appearance and attitude.

Responsibilities

• Assist with event setup, including tables, dining areas, buffets, and beverage stations
• Greet guests and provide friendly, professional service
• Serve food and beverages during catered events and functions
• Keep tables and guest areas clean and organized throughout the event
• Clear plates, glassware, and other service items
• Replenish beverages, utensils, food stations, and supplies as needed
• Assist with breakdown and cleanup at the end of the event
• Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines
• Work with event captains and other team members to keep service running smoothly

Events may take place during the week, in the evenings, or on weekends.

What You'll Be Doing
