Donna Salyers Fabulous-Furs is excited to offer a part-time position for an Event Server in Covington, Kentucky. This role is essential in providing friendly and attentive service during events at The Madison Event Center and Hotel Covington, ensuring a memorable experience for all guests.

The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude, be motivated, and be able to work weekends. Responsibilities include guest greeting, maintaining a guest-focused environment, and completing various tasks to ensure events run smoothly.

Compensation starts at $15.00 hourly with varying hours based on scheduled events.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age.
• Must be able to work weekends.
• Able to work in a standing position for long periods (up to 10 hours).
• Able to lift and maneuver up to 30 pounds independently.

Event Server

Principal responsibility is to provide friendly, attentive, and timely service to create an exceptional experience for all guests for contracted events at The Madison Event Center and Hotel Covington.

• Remain guest-focused while performing all assigned duties before, during, and after an event
• Assume 100% responsibility for the quality of each guest experience
• Welcome and greet guests upon entering The Madison/Hotel Covington
• Provide information about our food, beverages, and other functions and services
• Perform side work during each shift as assigned by Banquet Captain
• Maintain clean and fully stocked prep area, restrooms, and ballroom
• Ready and willing to assist other team members with event duties
• Handle tables, chairs, linens, tableware, and décor carefully to prevent breakage and loss
• Always follow safe food handling guidelinesClean and reset ballroom at the end of every event
• Attend all scheduled employee meetings and provides suggestions for improvement
• Other duties as assigned
