Job summary

ASM Global seeks a vigilant security professional to patrol the Oklahoma City Convention Center, guard the premises during events, and ensure patron and staff safety.

The role requires 18+ with high school diploma or GED; CLEET certification within six months is preferred. Responsibilities include incident reporting, alarm inspections, crowd control, and emergency response. Flexibility for various shifts and overtime is expected.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age.
• Prefer previous security experience.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to communicate effectively and maintain records.
• Knowledge of security policies and CCTV/Access Control systems.

Responsibilities

• Stand guard during events and patrol assigned post.
• Write incident reports and review with security supervisor.
• Inspect alarms and fire extinguishers; check doors, windows and gates.
• Tour facility to ensure security of premises.
• Assist with crowd control and handle disturbances.
• Respond to emergencies and unusual situations.
• Operate CCTV and Access Control systems; maintain professional appearance.
