Job summary

DAI, INC is seeking dedicated Event Security personnel to join our team in Frederick, MD. This role helps keep attendees safe and events running smoothly in fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities include monitoring access points, crowd management, bag checks and ID verification, responding to incidents, coordinating with event staff and emergency responders, and patrolling venues while delivering excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in security, law enforcement, or military preferred.
• Strong situational awareness and ability to stay calm under pressure.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must be able to stand, walk, and remain alert for extended periods.
• Must be reliable, punctual, and professional in appearance.
• Must be 18+ and pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and control access points at event venues to ensure only authorized individuals enter designated areas
• Conduct crowd management and maintain order throughout the duration of events
• Perform bag checks, ID verification, and screening procedures as required
• Respond promptly and professionally to incidents, disturbances, or emergencies
• Coordinate with event staff, law enforcement, and emergency personnel as needed
• Patrol assigned areas to deter and detect suspicious activity or security threats
• Provide excellent customer service while enforcing venue rules and regulations
