Job summary

DAI, INC in Frederick, MD is seeking dedicated Event Security personnel to join our team. You will monitor access points, manage crowds, perform bag checks, and coordinate with staff to keep events safe and running smoothly.

This on-site role requires alert, reliable individuals with strong communication skills and the ability to stay calm under pressure. Prior security or law enforcement experience is preferred, and a valid security license or willingness to obtain certifications is required.

Qualifications

• Prior security, law enforcement, or military experience is preferred.
• Strong situational awareness and ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and control access points at event venues to ensure only authorized individuals enter designated areas.
• Conduct crowd management and maintain order throughout the duration of events.
• Perform bag checks, ID verification, and screening procedures as required.
• Respond promptly and professionally to incidents, disturbances, or emergencies.
• Coordinate with event staff, law enforcement, and emergency personnel as needed.
• Patrol assigned areas to deter and detect suspicious activity or security threats.
• Provide excellent customer service while enforcing venue rules and regulations.
