Job summary

Cherry Creek School District is seeking an Hourly District Event Security professional to ensure safe, secure event environments across the district. The role involves patrolling venues, monitoring spectator behavior, enforcing policies, and assisting in emergencies with administrators and public officials.

Ideal candidates will have a background in security or related fields, be 21+, able to work varied hours including evenings and weekends, and be ready to operate in a high-stress environment

Qualifications

• Criminal background check and fingerprinting required.
• High School Equivalency (HSE) diploma.
• Security, law enforcement, or military experience preferred.
• Minimum age 21 years old.
• Bilingual ability is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safety and security at district events with high visibility and deterrence.
• Enforce District policies and report unsafe conditions to administrators.
• Monitor venues and coordinate with staff, students, and first responders.
• Assist in investigations and crisis response as needed.
