Job summary

The Florida Panthers Hockey Club is seeking a part-time Event Security Guard for the FTL War Memorial. This Non D-Licensed position supports the security team during events, helping create a safe, welcoming environment from guest entry to exit.

Evenings, weekends, and occasional holidays are typical; prior security, event staff or customer service experience is preferred. A background check and drug screening are required; D-licensed candidates are preferred when available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous security, event staff, or customer service experience preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
• Flexible schedule; evenings and weekends available.
• Must pass background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Monitor access to restricted areas and exterior doors.
• Control guest and vendor access inside and outside the venue.
• Check credentials to manage employee and visitor access.
• Monitor and respond to security issues during events.
• Provide excellent customer service to guests.
• Escort guests as needed throughout the venue.
• Follow safety policies and manage crisis situations.
• Operate radios and communicate clearly with team.
• Report incidents to supervisor or management.
• Other duties as assigned.
