Job summary

Allied Universal Event Services in Reno, NV is seeking Full Time Security Professionals to support a premier convention center and event venue. The role focuses on daily building coverage and high-visibility customer service for guests, vendors, employees, exhibitors, and visitors at large events.

Starting pay is $21.50/hr with multiple shifts. Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent and a Nevada PILB Security Guard Registration.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or equivalent or 5 years of work experience.
• Valid Nevada PILB Security Guard Registration required upon hire.
• May be considered pending licensing process if PILB card not active yet.
• Must be 18+ years old (21+ for driving positions).
• Valid driver's license with minimal moving violations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct interior and exterior patrols of the convention center and surrounding property.
• Monitor entrances, exits, loading docks, and restricted access areas.
• Conduct bag inspections and operate screening equipment as assigned.
• Control access and egress for guests, vendors, employees, exhibitors, and contractors.
• Provide professional customer service and maintain a safe and welcoming environment.
• Investigate incidents and prepare reports; maintain logs as required.
