Job summary

Surefox North America Inc is looking for an Event Resilience Officer in San Francisco. This role requires individuals with military, law enforcement, or security experience to ensure the safety and security of clients' employees and property during events.

Qualifications

Job description

Surefox North America Inc is a veteran‑owned company that strives to create a diverse and unique culture of trained and talented individuals. We are currently seeking individuals with military, law enforcement, or security experience to join our team as an Event Resilience Officer.

As an Event Resilience Officer (ERO), you will act as an ambassador for Surefox and its clients while ensuring the overall safety and security of our client's employees and property. You will work under the guidance of the Shift Supervisors and Area Managers during a special event for one of our top clients.

Responsibilities
  • Perform security patrols in assigned area to deter suspicious activity while operating on foot.
  • Assist with access control operations, including verifying ID and credentials of individuals attempting to access the client's facilities.
  • Monitor entrances and exits to maintain security and protect clients' employees and property.
  • Assist clients' employees as needed and create a safe, friendly environment for visitors.
  • Respond to and assist immediately and safely with any emergencies on site.
  • Maintain detailed notes throughout incidents, compile incident reports with coworkers after the shift.
  • Provide top‑tier customer service and maintain professional, respectful interactions with personnel.
  • Adapt to various work‑paces while maintaining high attentiveness and energy.
Requirements
  • Eligible for employment in the United States.
  • Minimum 18 years old per state licensing guidelines.
  • Valid BSIS guard card.
  • CPR/AED & First‑Aid certification from a recognized authority (or in process).
  • Ability to pass an extensive background check and drug screening.
  • Customer‑service oriented with professional communication skills.
  • Good judgment and the ability to make timely decisions.
  • Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions from supervisors.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to safely deploy and use any assigned equipment.
  • Ability to stand and conduct foot patrols for the duration of the shift.
Desired
  • Experience as a security officer or in a security‑related position.
  • Experience with special events.
  • Military background.
  • Security or law‑enforcement related experience.
  • Experience writing statements and reports.
Details & Compensation

Base Hourly Rate: $30.00/hour (during the event). Compensation may rise to $30–32.50/hr plus overtime at 1.5× rate.

Event Dates: 05/03–05/08. Shift length: 8–16 hours per day. Location: North San Francisco. Potential long‑term employment after the event.
