BEST Crowd Management is seeking an Event Security Officer for Toyota Center in Houston, TX. This on-site, part-time role focuses on protecting attendees, staff, and property while maintaining a visible professional presence.

Ideal applicants are 18+, with a high school diploma or equivalent; some college is preferred. A Texas private security license is preferred, and background/drug screening are required. Competitive pay at $15/hour with daily/weekly pay options.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent; some college preferred.
• Previous experience in event security or related field is advantageous.
• Ability to stand or walk for extended periods.
• Strong observational and problem‑solving skills.
• Demonstrate exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Work effectively in a team and collaborate with diverse backgrounds.
• Hold a valid security license or be willing to obtain one if required.
• Successfully pass a background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Make a positive impact by maintaining a visible, professional presence to the standards of the client and BEST.
• Patrolling assigned areas to deter unauthorized activities and ensure safety.
• Monitor access points, conduct bag checks, perform entry screenings, remain vigilant.
• Respond promptly to security incidents or medical emergencies as needed.
• Collaborate with event staff, law enforcement, and emergency services as required.
• Provide exceptional customer service by assisting attendees and giving directions.
• Report security occurrences to the supervisor and document activities.
• Create and maintain documentation of observed activity for leadership review.
• Uphold company policies and guidelines to maintain professional security standards.
