Would you like to win championships and create sustained success? Player 15 Group is looking for individuals committed to pursuing excellence and creating memorable experiences.

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated individual to join our team as an Event Security Manager within the Security Department. This position supports security leadership in overseeing the event security team and operations at PHX Arena, including staff management, event preparation, policy maintenance, coordination with event organizers, and emergency response.

What Will You Do

  1. Manage game night team members, including hiring, training, discipline, coaching, resolving grievances, payroll, and terminations.
  2. Coordinate security or staffing requests, create deployment sheets, conduct briefings, and support event operations.
  3. Set work hours and assignments, determine work techniques, and distribute work among team members.
  4. Leverage team strengths and identify development opportunities for self and others.
  5. Conduct interviews and assist in hiring processes.
  6. Lead new hire orientation sessions for full-time and part-time staff.
  7. Serve as a key contact for guidance and course correction.
  8. Develop and train Event Security Officers, Specialists, and Team Captains.
  9. Provide report writing training and oversee incident report entries.
  10. Continuously assess security team members and operations.

What We Need From Our Event Security Manager

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Preferred: ASIS International APP
  • Preferred: NCS4 CSVS
  • 3-5 years of Security Supervision experience
  • 1-2 years of Training experience
  • Experience in large entertainment or sport venue security operations
