Job summary

Rocky Mountain Protective Service Inc. is seeking an experienced Event Security Manager to coordinate personnel, planning, and service standards for a high-traffic downtown Denver venue.

You will lead security staffing, ensure training readiness, and act as the on-site liaison with venue management and the security supervisor. The role requires strong scheduling, reporting, and stakeholder communication skills, the ability to review post orders and licensing, and to oversee incident reporting

Rocky Mountain Protective Service Inc. (RMPS) is seeking an experienced Event Security Manager to coordinate personnel, operational planning and service standards for a downtown Denver entertainment venue.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate security staffing plans, event assignments and qualified backup coverage.

• Serve as an operational point of contact for venue management and the onsite security supervisor.

• Review post orders, training readiness, licensing, uniforms and radio coordination.

• Monitor event coverage, incident reporting, service quality and corrective actions.

• Review attendance and staffing records for accurate reconciliation and operational follow-up.

• Support emergency planning and adherence to facility procedures.
  

Schedule

• Flexible event-based assignments, including some evenings, weekends and holidays.

• Planning and onsite presence depend on event needs; no guaranteed weekly hours.
  

Required qualifications

• Relevant security operations management or event-security leadership experience.

• Strong staffing, scheduling, reporting and stakeholder-communication skills.

• Ability to complete background screening and facility training.

• Valid Denver Security Guard License before personally performing onsite security-guard functions.

Preferred qualifications

Experience with ticketed theatres, convention centers or similar live-event venues.
