Job summary

BEST Crowd Management is seeking energetic Event Security staff for the University of Mississippi. You will provide exceptional guest service, help with event setup, and ensure a safe, organized environment for attendees.

This part-time role emphasizes reliability, strong communication, and the ability to handle high-pressure situations. Evening, weekend, and holiday shifts are required as events dictate.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in customer service or related roles is advantageous.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to stay calm and professional in high-pressure situations.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays based on event schedules.
• Physical stamina to stand, walk, and be active for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding customer service by welcoming and assisting attendees.
• Assist with event setup, including equipment placement and signage.
• Monitor event areas for cleanliness, organization, and policy compliance.
• Answer questions and provide information about the event and amenities.
• Direct guests to seating, restrooms, concessions, and exits.
• Address guest inquiries, complaints, or issues promptly and professionally.
• Collaborate with event staff and vendors to ensure smooth operations.
• Assist with crowd management when necessary for safety and enjoyment.
• Follow company policies and guidelines to maintain professionalism.
