BEST Crowd Management in Austin, TX is seeking an Event Security Guard to join our team for Moody Center events. You will maintain a professional presence, monitor access points, and respond to incidents to protect attendees, staff and property.

The role is part-time, requires 18+, a high school diploma, and background checks. Prior event security experience is preferred and flexible scheduling, daily or weekly pay options are available to support event schedules.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in event security or related field is advantageous.
• Ability to stand or walk for extended periods.
• Pass background check and drug screening.
• Possess valid security license or willingness to obtain one.
• Flexible to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Maintain visible, professional presence at events.
• Patrol assigned areas to deter unauthorized activities and ensure safety.
• Monitor access points, bag checks, entry screening.
• Respond to security incidents or emergencies.
• Coordinate with event staff, law enforcement, and emergency services.
• Provide customer service to attendees and staff.
• Report incidents to supervisor and document activity.
• Uphold company policies and guidelines.
